What happens when I fill out this form?

You'll be contacted by one of our ministry staff to set up a parent meeting ahead of the next scheduled Child Dedication Sunday. This is where they'll walk you through what to expect that Sunday and help connect you with resources for your family after you dedicate your child.

Why should I dedicate my child?

This is your opportunity to commit to raising your child in a God-honoring way. This is your chance to imagine and envision your child's future and give the Prairie Lakes church family to pray specifically for your family.

How is child dedication different from infant baptism?

Child dedication is all about committing to raise your child to know and love God, and praying over their relationship with God. At Prairie Lakes, we believe that baptism is a step they can take once they've stepped over the Faith Line and decided to trust and follow Jesus.
