Prairie Lakes Church partners with Adonai International Ministries to provide healthcare in rural Guatemala while sharing the love of Christ. They operate various rural medical clinics, share the Gospel and pray with patients, and children and families in other ministry projects. 

Events and Trips

March 23 - April 1

Prairie Lakes Church partners with Adonai International Ministries to provide healthcare in rural Guatemala while sharing the love of Christ. There may be a number of opportunities for medical professionals and non-medical professionals on this trip including observing and/or assisting at various rural medical clinics, observing and/or assisting with surgical procedures, sharing the Gospel and praying with patients, interacting with the full-time missionaries and their families, primary school presentations, and assisting in other ministry projects. You do not need to be a medical professional to participate in this trip.

April 7-15

Prairie Lakes Church partners with Adonai International Ministries to provide healthcare in rural Guatemala while sharing the love of Christ. There may be a number of opportunities on this trip including observing and assisting at various rural medical clinics, sharing the Gospel and praying with patients, interacting with the full-time missionaries and their families, school outreach, and assisting in other ministry projects. This team will be supporting a ministry event for the staff and their family as they kick off Holy Week.

Allen College and Prairie Lakes Church partner with Adonai International Ministries to provide healthcare in rural Guatemala while sharing the love of Christ. There may be a number of opportunities for nursing students on this trip including observing and assisting at various rural medical clinics, observing and assisting with procedures, sharing the Gospel and praying with patients, interacting with the full-time missionaries and their families, construction projects, and assisting with other ministry projects. 


This is a closed trip for Allen College nursing students.

July 6-15

Allen College and Prairie Lakes Church partner with Adonai International Ministries to provide healthcare in rural Guatemala while sharing the love of Christ. There may be a number of opportunities for nursing students on this trip including observing and assisting at various rural medical clinics, observing and assisting with procedures, sharing the Gospel and praying with patients, interacting with the full-time missionaries and their families, construction projects, and assisting in other ministry projects.


This is a closed trip for Allen College nursing students.

Estimated cost is $1700. Applications and $100 deposits are due March 6.

October 5-15, 2025
